Jill Scott in the Light of the Sun

So her new album came out on 20th June and I got to admit its not a love at first hear album its most definitely a grower hence the time taken to even begin to discuss it. In true Heardrum fashion I'm going to lace you with the peaches.

Making you wait,
Parting away from the jazz influence and really getting to grips with new sounds.



So Gone
I got to be honest it sounds like a Marsha Ambrosius track but as expected Jill Scott applies the right level of "Sho you Right" Smooth vocals. Its a shame about Pall Wall but even Aston Martin has some ugly parts.



Rolling Hills
Signature Scott jazz influ, perfect vocals. great base and guitar just beautiful.
