So the new album was out 1st November under mercury records with the title Rock, dust, light, Star.

My advice to existing Jamiro fans "do not expect anything new and you will not be disappointed". However after a new sound well don't pick the album up.

Aside from a rockier guitar riff and a few synths there is no vast reinvention.

First listen in all honesty I just don't think it is as good as previous albums meaning Ill listen to this less than seeing sounds. The one thing I like is that they are always trying new sounds and styles and do not work within any genre based boundaries, the curse is that the album can sound like a mixtape with odd ball tracks thrown in. It doesn't take you on a journey.

How I got over Rising Down

The Roots released their latest album on 25 June with the title HOW I GOT OVER, and its fantastic, beautiful, soulful hip hop.

Prior to this album I felt game theory was the best album produced by the Roots Crew but this is just something different.

They even managed to sneak Amber Coffman on the album. she is the singer from Rusko's latest summertime banger hold on.

Today Bloc fans kele releases his new solo album.

You have probably heard the first single but if not well here it is.

On first listen this track is actually nothing like the rest of the album but its obviously gonna be a big hit with the clubbing crowd.

on the other hand it doesn't sound very Bloccy either which I think is a credit to him, how many other solo albums sound like the group that they have come from? lots is the answer.

My favourite track - unholy thoughts, it has a real metric sound, contradictory to what I said previously this does sound bloccy.

Madrid De Los Austrias & Dorfmeister

Dorfmeister hales from Austria and has worked with artists such as Roni Size Depeche Mode and Madonna.

Madrid De Los Austrias also from Austria is an electronica DJ, he remixed the track My friend by Groove Armada.

They released an album titled grand slam and created a really funky sound with tracks schnitz boogie no more (sampled the disco version) and Spanish Greese.

Now I know this track is fairly old for all you Massive Attack die hard fans. I heard this for the first time as the introduction music to the Cop drama Luther.

The track is just beautiful and reminds me just how much we owe Bristol for their input in the British Music Industry.

Video was created by Darwin Deez yes same people who created radar detector.

They recently had a spot on the Zane Lowe show and seem to be set for some big things in the coming year.

Cornelius However are a Japanese Rock band who have a real retro rock sound in this track fly (who doesn't these day's I know), but then they finish real funky and I gotta say I kinda like it.

Check the other track to get a more of an idea of the funky sound that I'm talking about.

wataridori is about as close as you can get to a track of the foals first album antiotes.

NU Tone Spread Love

This classic has been re-worked be the genius that is Nu-tone, this version is just that little bit fizzier.
